TTT KHEMOKLASSIC - aka KC

(1999-____)

Arabian

KC, a purebred Arabian, was born on a farm in Iowa.  He was a disappointment to his owners by being the wrong color.  As often happens, he was for sale cheap.  A cheap horse can end up at a feed yard and on his way to a slaughter facility.  All this despite having royal blood in his veins.  KC was descended from KHEMOSABI and it doesn't get better than that.  Killer buyers don't care.

I brought him here and he and I both think his color is just fine.  He is classy and proud.  He likes being with me and he likes training.  He wants to do everything asked of him.

KC  KC arrived 12/22/2000

1/21/2004 - We've been upon KC about a dozen times now and he's still skittish but he tolerates it. I like his energy but it makes me a little nervous sometimes. I don't land as soft as I used to.

7/20/2004 - KC accepts saddle and rider better now but he still has that Arabian spirit that keeps me a little cautious when I am on him.  He sure likes to run and, sometimes, its hard to stop him.

8/14/2005 - KC's training is going well but he anticipates, by my actions, what am going to ask of him.  That is not all good since he moves before I am ready sometimes.  He likes to give Gabby a bad time but it is in fun and no one gets hurt.

10/30/2005 - There must be a rivalry between Gabby and KC for they pretend to attack one another frequently.  They still don't get hurt bad but they both have little patches of hair missing.

11/25/2006 - KC just gets better looking every year.  This summer last was his seventh and, although he still has his Arabian spirit, he looks and acts more mature and sort of laid back.  He still  tolerates Gabby picking on him without much fuss.  He just picks back.

7/21/2007 - KC had his teeth floated even though he has always dropped food.  He is just too busy watching everyone else and looking around.  He still drops food because of messing around but I reckon he gets enough since he has never had a weight problem.

5/24/2008 - He just get better looking every year.  He sheds his winter coat and grows his summer one quickly, almost by himself.  He does like to be groomed though.  His new diet of roughage and alfalfa looks like its working well.  He get no supplements.

He still likes to play and has lots of energy.  He and Gabby pick on each other all the time but they seldom get nicked.  They get plenty of exercise running up and down the pasture.
